We spent a good 2 years in Cambridge and the kids attended St. Colette’s preparatory school by the train station. Schools are different in the U.K. compared to home. It was good fun for them.
Then there are Bank Holidays. A term not used in Singapore – essentially its a public holiday and it is put on a Monday so that everyone gets a long weekend. Why don’t we do that!
Anyhow, we made our way to one of the National Trust Heritage sites – Framlingham Castle in Suffolk. We definitely had a nice picnic there. I think my sister was with us as well.
We had a good time. So now that Jerry is finishing his National Service and going on to University in 2018, I ask myself – what has changed? Is he a completely different person now after 2 years? Has his character / personality improved?
Well, I finally decided to dig into my stash of photos. Here’s the answer I guess. Somethings just don’t change! 🙂
For myself, it has been a relatively uncomfortable night. Throat noises kept me up most of the night making my breathing difficult. So I did get up at several times to read and thought about what to blog today.
Col 2:4-Col 2:5 NLT I am telling you this so no one will deceive you with well-crafted arguments. For though I am far away from you, my heart is with you. And I rejoice that you are living as you should and that your faith in Christ is strong.
I believe both of you have grown tremendously over the last 3 years. I am glad. I have faith in both your capabilities and resolve.
At least this putting up this page makes my ‘sleep’ last night well worth it. I am happy.
