my thoughts, my beliefs

“Inver” means confluence of waters or river mouth in Gaelic. Place-names with “inver” are very common in Scotland – e.g., “inverness”, which means the opening of the river Ness. So why not “invernest”! Here we have it – “invernest’, a “nick” I have been using since my pro-Macintosh days in the 90’s. Those days are of course long over. But I still do like the Mac. I don’t quite love it, but I still do like it a lot! 🙂

The purpose of this blog? It is dedicated to my family & friends. I hope it succintly summarises my thoughts and beliefs and is a good representation of me. There are some Bible quotes in this blog and I do not mean to preach in the normal sense of the word. I have put them in as I have never prayed, fellowshipped with our personal Saviour and read the Word of God so much before.

I have many atheists friends. Some agnostic. Some of other religious faiths. As this marks the  final chapter of my life, I would want to share this with my family and friends. Enjoy my final journey along with me. I have been blessed with all your company. Take this final walk with me…..

I want to be remembered as a good person. I believe that I have many imperfections but my heart and actions are always for my family and friends. I may fail them from time to time, but I hope they do know that I do try.

I have a beautiful family. I am so proud of them. I couldn’t ask for more. I also have true friends. They would know who they are.

“if my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land” 2 Chronicles 7:14
